This Sunday, 24th November, marks the feast day of Christ the King. This represents the end of the church’s year. Christ the King is one of the most important titles of Jesus. Even though Jesus Christ was not a king in the earthly sense, He is the divine King of the Universe, who unites all of creation with the Father.

In Maths, the children learned to multiply and divide by multiples of ten (10,20.30.40. 50 etc.).
In Music, the children have continued playing their cornets. Keep playing at home! The hard work now will be worth it.

In RE, the children begun work on John the Baptist.
In computing, the children learned about computational thinking and particularly, abstraction and pattern recognition.
Cricket
Due to the bitterly cold weather yesterday, we were unable to get outside for cricket. The children worked with Steve and created a poster about the Spirit of Cricket, with wonderful values like Sportsmanship, Teamwork and Respect.
Fit2Go
Fit2Go is a curriculum based healthy lifestyle programme where the children will receive a one-hour classroom based lesson, as well as one hour multi sports physical activity session.
This week was particularly challenging, the children learned about bones and muscles and then completed a circuit of activities. .

Wellbeing Wednesday has continued!
The children considered which habits they have that are healthy and which they have which are unhealthy and set goals to develop more healthy habits.
